February 17, 2020 Nature Journal

I chipmunk up the video to speed it up. I used watered down glue and scrap pieces of paper onto a cereal box. Someone sent a letter and I used the envelope on the spine for it was made of Tyvek. A strong material to help with the strength of the signatures on the spine. Below is the finished Journal after collaging napkins and stamping with Stazon. I gave it one last coat of Mod Podge and I am now ready to make the signatures for the inside.

February Blog for 2020

This is my new addition to my Garden Journal I started about five years ago. A photo album, diary, and journal that I use to keep a record of all the changes through the years in my gardens. Which are plenty.

I have added this folder to my Journal Blog. This is titled Rain Garden Journal and this is a video to see what it looks like.

Welcome to the Bullet / Travel / Garden Blog

(January blog for 2020)

“Do you have a design in mind for your Journal? Whether you prefer a trendy minimalist look or you’re going for a more artistic style Journal - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.” I have created one that is just perfect for me.
There are big journals little journals, Christmas Journal and Planner Journals. I will have links to some of the Journals that I have used for inspiration.
The cover page is my Library Journal. I keep it at my desk at home and jot down different ideas and books I want to look up when I am online or at the library. More details pictures are in the "The Crafts" area under Journals. It is call the "Dewey Jotter".
I have a journal for everything. Desk Jotter for my passwords, A library jotter for my books at the library, ATC Journal notes for when I posted, Garden Journal, Christmas Journal, Birthday Journal, Bullet Journal , Kayaking Journal, Backpacking Journal, Nature Journal....Letterboxing Journals, Round Robin Journals, Purse Journal, It is tiny. And I make them for my friends, family and friends friends, and my most important one, the Bibliophile Journal I have had for over 10 years. Holds notes on every book I have read or listened to. LOL Never enough Journals. So Journal on.

Travel Journals

I make my own Journals from different materials. I use old books, cardboard, junk mail all kinds of different stuff. You can purchase beautiful books at Amazon, Etsy, Staples, Walmart or Target. The important thing is to enjoy the process of writing and reliving your memories of where you traveled to.

The books in the photograph was bought at a local library sale. I am going to use the red book for a travel art journal. I will show you the steps I take to prepare the journal for my next adventure. I want to be able to have pages in it to watercolor sites, to be able to put in memorabilia, i.e.; ticket stubs, maps etc. And to jot down the everyday things of the fun times we had. The finished journal and the process is located on my web page under the tab labeled "The Crafts" tab down to the Journal heading.

Coming Soon. Traveling the United States and Beyond.
