going to make 4 leaf clover charms...

I am not sure what these are but they are cute.

Kellie's Press-- my husband made for me.

I am not sure if this was when the press was made or just the paper date when I started this pressing?

Below is a link to another way to dry flowers. I love the thyme I spend in my garden....

Cardboard first, Felt Second newspaper third, put in your flowers, a piece of newspaper again, then another piece of felt and finish the sandwich with cardboard. Repeat.

Below is a link on how to use the dried flowers in your Journal. This dill was pressed two years ago. I am just finding it. Forgot.

Flower Pressing

I am gathering new flowers and herbs to use in my flower press this month of August. I will use some of these in projects over the winter. Check out the picture gallery for new ideas. I will even have a video coming up to show you how to make a dried flower project. I used a lot of dried flowers and seeds in my papermaking video. I have also used some of my dried flowers in Eco Printing. A very cool way to make Eco Dyed Papers. There are lots of video's on You Tube to watch regarding the Eco Dyed Paper process... However, you should check out my video on the You Tube button above to watch real time papermaking... LOL

I have an old fashion flower press. My husband made this flower press for me a long, long time ago. I still use it. However, I have found a new way to press flowers. It is called Microfleur. And below is a link to the company with a video on how to use it. It takes only about 3 minutes total time. And Whaalaa! you have dried flowers to craft with.
Also linked is another video under the Thyme picture, for a fast way to dry flowers. Click on the pictures to see the story.
