AN ARTISTE'S JOURNEY
FOR INSPIRATION
2022 Late Winter
Gelli Printing
Over the winter I have been working down in the Senior Center Art Studio
I am able to spread out and sling paint on everything.
I have been working with recycled paper bags from the grocery store. Here is one of my results.

Stickwork “Tilt-a-Whirl”
Patrick Dougherty’s Stickwork sculptural installation is named “Tilt-a-Whirl”. Dougherty’s creations have been featured in more than 300 locations around the world from Scotland to Japan to Brussels, and all over the United States.
Dougherty and his son have created the structures made completely from willow sticks and branches. They have worked daily with volunteers to complete the intensive creative project throughout the month of August. The universally appealing creation will be on view at the arboretum for at least one year, until it naturally deteriorates.

A beautiful day in December 2019 right after Christmas. Listening to the music of the Earth. So lovely.

This was a fun trip to Lake Erie, Ohio. Easy access and lots to do in the Park. Click on the picture for more details.
