The Year is 2021

November 22, 2021

What happened to October?  This year went by super-fast.   I did get in some more kayaking and planted lots of bulbs in the garden. We put up Abercrombie and I have already taken him down. To put out Fitch. Christmas is upon us and it is not even Thanksgiving yet.  The year has rushed by. I am actively trying to slow it down for December. Check out the pictures in Quilting.  I am actively working and enjoying the process of stitching on my quilts.

SEPTEMBER 5th

Autumn is falling fast.  I still need to get out and kayak some more, and garden and Zentangle, and paint and hike.  I did create over the summer, but not as much as I wanted.  Still working on the Quilting.  Going to make my first piece next week.  "Santa".

AUGUST 9

The summer is rolling by fast.  Mushroom hunting and Kayaking.  Catching up with friends and sending out healing vibes to all in need.  Hung up my prayer flags and my daughter is placing hers in the special places of her choice. Happy August.

February March April May & Part of June.

  • These months have gone by fast and furious.  Had a major life transition change in my life that put things into prospective and have changed me for the better.

  • Let's get on with the Art!

  • Art and Gardening are the two things in life that make living in Earth  a blessing. Along with kayaking.  However, the best part is having a wonderful person in your life to share and enjoy this life together.  That person is my husband.

January 24

  • This is my second year creating the Paper Artiste' and another year of learning how to create the Paper Artiste's Voice of the Web.  Twenty Twenty-One has already begun and I am started out the New Year with creative ideas and art that is out of my paint palette box.

I decided that I would begin a new endeavor.  Quilting! Yes, Quilting. It has taken me three weeks of intense research on just the quilting language for this inspirational Art not to mention, thread, machines, piecing, the rotary, batting, fabric, applique',  and freehand... My choice for this very old art style.

  • It is a huge craft with many artistic off-shoots. There is a lot of art that may be created with quilting. I would be able to fill the whole internet up with all these possibilities, however I will just make a new page.

  • So please join me for a look at this historic and amazing art. I have created a new page located under Thread Arts.

  • And Welcome to a New Year of Paper Artiste'.
