DOG DAYS OF SUMMER. WELCOME TO AUGUST EVERYONE.
There are all these moments in life that teach us lessons or define who we are.... simple moments of clarity Often shine light to focus our needs....in my journey I've stumbled, made huge mistakes, picked the wrong option over right. I used to get upset for my shortcomings I now realize that the mistakes are there to help us attain a higher level...much like climbing a mountain out of a city... the chatter and noise of the city fade as we climb higher... much like the chatter in our heads... the higher we climb the quieter it becomes.. this year is a different tone for all of us.... I'm trying to make drastic changes to start a new life... this year I realized most of my photos are sunsets instead of sunrises.... I often feel fortunate that the city which I must escape to have a weekend off is so close to Untapped beauty. I had ventured down to a remote Lake to meditate on a rock and hike the dogs.... I was feeling snarkish and thirsty so I ventured back towards the car....as I was feeding my dogs vanilla wafers and drinking.... yes, I said it...a white claw.... A nice gentleman pulled up in a pretty cool off-road vehicle. We began to chat....as the Sun set, we parted ways to find a place to bed down and have dinner for the night.... As I was getting ready it to start my dinner, I saw familiar vehicle pass me on the dirt road. I waved and flagged the gentleman that I was speaking with earlier into the camping spot. We hung out and had dinner and car camped. The next day we four wheeled up the mountain, we exchanged numbers and parted ways...... The beauty of venturing out alone is sometimes you find other people that are doing the same thing. To travel is to fill my soul... to land at a spot that makes you never want to leave is magic....
